My story

It is an honor and privilege to share yoga and flower arranging with you. As a lifelong female business owner, I understand the hustle of balancing work with life. I can teach you skills to handle your busy lifestyle while maintaining a healthy body, mind, and spirit. 

Let me tell you my story.  Growing up in my grandfather's flower shop was like a fairy tale! I spent countless hours playing in the greenhouse, surrounded by flowers and plants, the soothing sounds of water fountains,  intoxicating floral scents, while observing my family, and other creative floral designers buzzing around creating the most magnificent floral masterpieces!

As a teenager, I was groomed for business, working diligently at the family flower shop, which led me to become an entrepreneur. After owning, and operating my own flower shop for 2 decades, I branched out and opened a wedding and luxury event floral design company, and eventually became one of the top floral designers in the Philadelphia area.  One of  highlights of my floral  career was being hand-picked, as a designer, to create gorgeous flowers, by Beyonce for her OTR tour in Philadelphia! 

As much as I love designing flowers for weddings and events, the stress of a high demanding creative job, the long hours, deadlines, and sheer exhaustion can be brutal. In my search for some relief, I gave yoga a try. After my first class I felt a need to take more time for myself. It became a beautiful ritual. On my yoga mat, I found a place where I could give myself permission for self-care, time to slow down, reflect, and breathe.  I began to shake off the dust, after being in the rabbit hole for many years. The beneficial effects of practicing yoga, breath work, and meditation became apparent very quickly.  It was as if my stress just melted away. 

This awakening gave me a desire to help others enjoy the benefits of yoga.  I enrolled in the YogaLife Institute and after many years of practicing  I became an advanced yoga teacher.  I enjoy sharing the beautiful practices of both yoga and floral design.
